Justin timber-lake TKO this song does not have a lot of cuts through out the music video compared to the other example I used it has a lot of cuts in that video but .I think that this song was not meant to be fast paced because I think that it shows its one of his slow song. the main reason. through out this music video it shows that this is a slow song that the reason I used this as my bad example because there's not that much cuts in this video. You can tell this song isn't meant to be fast paced because i don't think all his songs are slow paced because some of his other songs are fast paced. it shows that this artist has is creative with his songs.

I think the reason I chose this song is because I know that's its a recent song and the special effects in this music video were done very well from when the song came out. I this song is good because you see in this music video they do try to do the best special effect and they use them well which is what the audience want this shows that the artist uses the animation well in this video.

This example I used was a very old song so the animation didn't look that good because of how old the video is the animation wasn't at the level it is now so it isn't as strong. the other example I used to compare was made a lot later so animation has advanced so much since then. I don't think the special effects weren't done good at all in this video but for how old it is it couldn't look much better. This shows that how old this song is its in black and white in some parts but they still do try to use animation in this music video but its done really bad which can effect the audience because they might not like it because its done well.

This example is for a bad camera angle music video because throughout the song it only has about 4-5 different camera shots which isn't good not bad but isn't good because it just makes the music video boring because its just on the artist face and he do sent even dance I think that this wouldn't appeal to the audience as music as the other one because of how its just on the artist standing still and not moving but just singing I  think that it shows that the artist thought that he didn't need to have camera angles in his music video. in this music video the technique was not used right and just do sent look affective.

The institution will use this for the style because its a fast pace song and it goes with it will.The song will impact on the audience because it might make the audience want to dance to at this time in the song 0:55 it will make people want to dance because its a fast paced song . I could use this style because of how songs are being release they are like this and its more popular so if I used it I think it will make an impact and it will be a good choice.

A genre subverting video is what is the opposite
of what a genre video is because it will do mostly everything different with stuff like location. In the song at 1.30 it shows how it fits the style because normally with these songs the location is normally in clubs or dark lit rooms but in this video its out side which shows that this music video is genre subverting video because its the doing the opposite of what this sort of music video would normally have in it .I think that this would be good for the institution because this shows that this music video can fit subverting video because of how it does the opposite of a normal genre video because the location is not what its normal genre would use because its daylight and outside but I think that it will make a big impact on the audience because at 1.56 it will make the audience want to dance and sing because its just good I think that it fits the style.

The institution would use this style for the song because  its a slow song and it just fits the performance style because that way you can get close ups with no interruptions think the audience will like at 1.45 in the song it shows that this video will impact the audience because of the camera angles with the close ups and the artist try s to stay in one place think I could use this style but i wouldn't unless it was more of an emotional song because I think I would like to use this because its very simple because throughout this song he doesn't really move on the stage.

I think that this song will impact on the audience when at 1.20 at this part of the song that's where he goes to kill the guy who stole his girlfriend which is  good because the music video has a action story going on at the same time the song is playing. i think that a narrative could benefit me if i was to make a music video because of the start when you can make a story its very beneficial.

I like song and the reason I thought I would use it is because this music video has used animation throughout the whole song which is good because it fits the style and the conventions i think that this song will be good for the institution because they will use this song because it uses good animation which is good because there aren't a lot of music videos with good animation which show that the institution can use this video. I feel like this music video will have a huge impact on the audience the song time 0.33 because of how hes walking through the street and the animation. I think if i was to use this style it will be very hard because you would have to be good at graphics this video was done on the computer so it must have been expensive to make because the programs used must have costed a lot so I don't think this video would benefit me and I think it will be very complicated to make.


Interpretive 

Interpretive is when the visuals match the lyrics the reason I used this example is because at 0.20 he says something about a unicorn and then a unicorn pops up on the screen which shows that this a interpretive video because it shows what the artist says and it will come on the screen.The institution will use this video because of it shows that it fits the style of being interpretive I think that it will be good because this song has 2 famous artists which if they put it on a radio people will want to go and listen and watch the music video.I think this song will be good for the institution because Eminem is a famous artist so its good if they would play this on the radio for his new song to get around so people will know that he has released his new music video. I think this video will impact on the audience at 0.30 in the song because that's when the beat kicks in and a lot of the animation starts to flow with in the song. I think if I would use this I would have simple animation I would haven't the amount this does but I would just have the things I am saying pop up on the screen.



Impressionist

Impressionist is weird songs because it just weird things going on all the time and I used this song because what happening in this music video has really nothing to do with the lyrics which is weird because they normally have a little bit to do with each other. I think in most of the music video its got nothing to do with the lyrics. I this video definitely fits the this style because what's going on is really weird  I think that this song will be good for the institution because in this video people like different types of things in music videos and because this artist is famous it will be good if they put it on radios because that way the song will get around I think that this music video will be very successful. I think this music video will make a big impact on the audience at 0.50 when he looks like he is being possessed and it looks weird and some people like that because when you have just the artist singing it looks the same the audience might want to see something different. I don't think i will you this style but it could work because it wouldn't be that hard to do because you can make a lot of things up on the spot with this style.


Surreal/Abstract

Abstract is just weird things going on through the whole music video where they are all dressed up weird and it doesn't make sense because its just meant to be random some audiences like this genre of music and a lot don't because it just random and I think that this music video fits this style because it do sent make sense and what they are wearing is just weird I think that this music video is good for the institution because its different and in the music video at 1.45 you can see that none of them can sing but its just funny and random I think because if this was to be put on mainstream people would like it because its funny so i think it will be good for the institution and it will get known a lot and then people will start to watch this sort of genre. I think that this video will impact on the audience of more being funny then people actually liking the song because they cant sing and i think they are just making these videos just to be funny because at 0.50 they are just staring at each other and not even doing anything.

pastiche is where they copy things from the movie and I know that in this music video they do copy clips from the movie that it copies the clips from  this movie its a good choice because it was a good movie i think that its good because it helps the audience because if they like this song and see a clip from the movie in this music video they might want to see movie now. A parody is where it takes the Mick out of an actual music video and the example is used for a parody is iggy azalea - fancy because you can tell by the lyrics and the way they act in the video is made to take the Mick out of it.the reason I chose this as my example is because it is a popular song and its funny what they say with the lyrics its good because if people like to watch parody's of other music videos and this is a good song they will gain a big audience and then people can share the video and get it more known which is good for the people that song this song.  think that this song will be a big impact on audience at 0.56 because that's when  they starts to take the Mick out the song while dancing as well i think at that point. its kind of good for the artist but not so good because it gets around still and if people like it they might look for the actual song but if they don't like the song they might like this better because its a parody. this is a good parody because you can get some parody which are not that good and that haven't changed the song that much because with a parody the lyrics should be changed for it to be funny because it will make it more funny to mess with the lyrics.

Referencing is when the song is in a movie and then then in the music video they will use some clips from the movie in that music video. When he promoted this song in his new album it was a very good song and got around fast the reason i used this as my example is because i know that this artist is very successful and the song was probably his best song. it was good for the record label because of how much money they made by selling the song and by recording it. the good thing for the artist is the song i used it was his best song in his album which is good for him because it will then attract more of a bigger audience.
